BELLE-I'm so glad you decided to go ahead and post. you NEVER know what lives you will touch. here it is, 5:46 PM, and I'm reading it!! It was ME, who spoke of "isolating" last week--yep, ole outgoing, big mouth ME..it happens to the best and worst of us. I went to the doctor today and decided to ask for some "help". I have been without antidepressant medication for about 5 months, and have decided I obviously need some. I started on Celexa today. I don't like feeling like wanting to "crawl under the covers" and stay there. Medication ALONE is not the answer, of course, but I do know it can HELP.

Again, thank you for having the courage to post today.

Good morning Train Riders!  Getting ready for another week.  Have my work laptop booting up, Earl Grey tea brewing and my warm fuzzy slipper socks on.  Have I mentioned I LOVE working from home??  Yesterday was a nice day, good message at church, lunch with the family, home to rest for a bit and watch some mindless TV, then bible study in the evening.  Jeff and I stood outside and watched the lightning when I got home, beautiful light show.

Today I've got a bunch of stuff to do for work and a couple of meetings.  I'm taking a pass on the elliptical until my chest inflammation goes away, but if the weather is decent tonight Jeff and I will go for a walk.  I'd really like for us to get in the habit of doing something active each day together.  I've just got to get my butt in gear and suggest it.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Good Morning OH Family!

I'm up a little early this morning. Laylabug spent the night, had to get her up and ready for her little school. I'm surprised she slept thru all the thunder last night. Today going to go with Rick to the foot Dr. It is looking better but still has a ways to go. Need to go by Walmart and get some food for the week. Nothing sounds good lately. I'm watching a story on the Today show about how the act of "giving" can improve your health. The book is called 29 gifts. I think I will pick it up today. It talks about how to stop just focusing on ourselves and start giving to others. Hmmm I like that...Well I think I'm going to go back to bed for a few hours, perfect for this cold rainy day. Prayers for our Jenny and Eric.

Your loved!

Jumping on late this morning.  I actually slept til 8:30.  I called work yesterday and there were too many nurse's scheduled for today so I chose to "take call" instead of work today.  My knee is still really bothering me and I'm not sure that I can go back and work 12 hour days.  Heck, after being on it for 2 hours I have to elevate it and rest.  The actual kneecap is still very tender.  Oh well enough gripping about me.

Funny story...I had a HUGE overgrowth of Oregano in my backyard so I made a big batch of homemade spaghetti sauce 2 weeks ago.  The whole time it cooked it just didn't taste right but I couldn't put my finger on what was wrong.  Well yesterday Hailey went to work and I told her to take a bunch of the oregano with her and give it to the chefs cuz it was taking over my backyard.  After she got to work she texted me to say it was Cinnmon Basil- not Oregano which is why my sauce tasted so funny.  The chefs got a good laugh at my expense.  Lesson learned-don't believe those little tags they put in pots you buy.

Prayers needed for my Mom as she closes on her house today.  May it go off without a hitch.

My daughter has a little herb garden in her front yard with oregano, rosemary and sage among other things... I love it when they rake the leaves out of it... the whole front yard smells like spaghetti sauce.... lol

Hey You Guys!
Hopping on quickly before I finish up some ARD paperwork that's been sitting on my desk. As Karla said, I have to get it all turned in by the end of the week.

Saturday night was a BLAST! Thanks so much TOM and QUE!!! You guys rock!!!

Friday night we went to the rodeo with Addison. She turned a 20 in barrell racing. The horse she's on goes her hardest but she just isn't cutting it. Her dad told her to get her time down or we are going to replace the horse. I'm ALL about getting her a new horse. Foxy is such a pain- she pushes down panels, bullies the other horses around and runs like a fool when we are trying to catch her. It's just hard to replace her when the girls are attached to her. At least when we are buying horses they aren't going to be someone's dinner at the end of the season. I have spent more money on goats (that go to "sale") then Dirk has spent on horses that live twenty years or better. So I guess in the next couple of months we are going to be horse shopping... yehaw! lol

Saturday we got all of the goats validated for state and county. Yes, Kris- they feel like real honest goats now. Their feelings are all better now- well not really- we did have to neuter them and I bet they are still a bit miffed. lol

Yesterday we worked in the barn. The girls and I set up panels in the goat pen area. Tonite we are supposed to set up panels for horse stalls, I hope it quits raining. Addison's horse, Foxy, bullies the other horses around and eats their food. We are going to lock them into pens during feed so that Lakota, who is 24, can get ALL of her food. I'm all about locking them in too, because I get tired of them crowding me in the feed room.... me with a bucket of feed is no match for a 1500lb horse with a 'tude!

We saw Paranormal Activity last night and I have to say that it is the scariest movie I have ever seen. I got home just in time for it to start pouring- which made it even worse! I laid in bed and read The Shac****il I passed out. Sometime early this morning Dirk went to check on something and the bedroom door creaked...I almost became a fixture on the ceiling fan.

Gotta jet!
Love you guys!
Tracey

Tracey that movie scared the crap out of me. I think it is the scaries movie I have ever seen too. I was so jumpy when I got home, Doug was like "what is wrong with you" He also like it because I was laying all over him all night. LOL

Catching the afternoon train for a short ride.

My long awaited super busy weekend is done and it was wonderful. Only glitch was my brand new batteries for my camera STILL didn't work. So I am waiting on pics from family to send to me tonight so I can post some.

Work is going to be very overwhelming for the next 3 weeks or so. Actually literally until Thanksgiving and working the weekend of Thanksgiving most likely. We are changing over from Oracle to SAP multi corporation wide.  So it's a biggie.  I will be doing overtime for about an hour a day but honestly it's not worth the funds by the time they take out taxes.  BUT I also very much need it.

I am so proud of my Emma yesterday. I had I bet a dozen folks tell me that they were just floored and so impressed with her theology paper that she read to the congregation.  Leave it to MY child to walk up there and say "I'm just gonna tell you, my heels are KILLING me, so I'm taking them off right now!"  So there she is at the pulpit, reading barefoot!  Thankfully PG (pastor) follows up with 'well, don't worry, Moses was barefoot when I confronted the burning bush!".

I am a bit concerned for Emm because she told my SIL that she is just exhausted all the time.   There was enough worry that she told my Mom and then Mom called me.  I'm sure she needs better vitamins and I'm thinking some iron.  She has been anemic before. I also think I will get her some b12 or give her a shot like she does me.  Any suggestions for a 15 year old?

Okay, my loverly lunch is already over. Prayers for healing and strength for Eric and Jenny and all those others in need.  Blessings to the rest.

Becky
